LITURGY RESOURCESThe Liturgy Commission (LC), is mandated to provide leadership for ongoing liturgical catechesis and liturgical renewal in the diocese. Its goal is to respond to the liturgical needs of the parishes; to promote the full and active participation of all in the liturgy; to encourage implementation of the Directory for Masses with Children; and to focus on the Sunday Liturgy as a response to the diocesan Synod recommendation that there be a liturgical and spiritual renewal in the diocese. Parishes seeking guidelines or support for liturgical catechesis and renewal are encouraged to contact Pastoral Services for further information (738-5025). Workshops for parish leaders are announced in the Diocesan News. Assembly of Liturgical Musicians (ALM) is a resource group for music ministers across the Archdiocese. The focus of the group is to create a network of music ministers, share resources and provide workshops, and sing, pray, and support each other.
