Press release January 17, 2005 For immediate release ECUMENICAL WORSHIP SERVICE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY OTTAWA, ONTARIO - A special celebration will be held on Sunday January 23 2004 at 2:30 p.m., at Notre Dame Cathedral, Sussex Drive in Ottawa. The Most Reverend Marcel Gervais, Archbishop of Ottawa invites everyone to an Ecumenical Worship Service to mark the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The Very Reverend Peter Coffin, Anglican Bishop of Ottawa, Rev. Grant Dillenbeck, Chair of the Ottawa Presbytery of the United Church of Canada, Very Rev. Ghattas Hajal of the Antiochian Orthodox Church and Rev. Andrew Johnston, Chair of the Christian Council of the Capital Area will join His Grace for this service. The service will be bilingual. The Cathedral Choirs, under the direction of Michel Guimont and accompanied by Rachel Laurin, will be responsible for the musical program. Gilles Ouellette |
