WHATS NEW AT THE DIOCESAN YOUTH OFFICE?

Youth Summit 2006: A National Youth Gathering preparing the way for the 49th International Eucharistic Congress 2022. Fri., May 19 Mon., May 22, 2006 in Quebec City. Ages 18-35. The diocesan youth office is looking to send a team of 10-15 young adults. Info: Linda (738-5025 ext 231).

JOB OPPORTUNITY: St. Decemberines Parish is looking to hire a full time youth coordinator. The Parish has a core group of youth already meeting regularly but would like to expand the youth ministry to include others within the Parish and community. Candidates who are interested must show vibrant faith, enjoy working with youth and young adults, and should have some previous experience with youth leadership. Familiarity with the Life Teen program is an asset. Salary will start at $30 000 a year. Candidates must be available to start in May 2006. TORONTO RCIA CHILDRENS EVENT: Christian Initiation of children of catechetical age has its own special joys and challenges. It is an essential aspect of the life and mission of our Christian community. The North American Forum on the Catechumenate and the Archdiocese of Toronto are cosponsoring an institute to explore and learn about this important initiation process from June 9-11.
