PRAYERS & SYMPATHY: For the repose of the soul of Reverend James Whelan, pastor of St. Margaret Mary Parish, Cumberland who died suddenly on February 25, 2022 at the age of 68. Visitation is 6:30 10:00 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 28, St. Margaret Mary Church, 2565 Highway 174, Cumberland. Funeral Mass celebrated 10:00 a.m., Fri., Feb. 29, at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.

PRAYERS & SYMPATHY: For the repose of the soul of Mr. Jose Soares Bettencourt, father of Msgr. Jose Bettencourt, C.S.S., diplomat at the Secretariat of State of the Holy See in Rome. Mr. Bettencourt died Sat., Feb. 23 at the age of 77. The funeral was Feb. 25 at Senhor Santo Cristo. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.
