The Ontario Bishops speak out against Euthanasia and Assisted suicide: In response to recent suggestions that euthanasia and assisted suicide should be legalized, the Ontario Catholic bishops have issued Going to the House of the Father: A Statement on the Dignity and Destiny of Human Life to re-iterate for Catholics the teaching of the Church regarding the dignity and sacredness of human life. REMINDER - COLLECTION FOR VOCATIONS: The next scheduled special collection is for Vocations and will take place the weekend of April 28-29, 2007, Good Shepherd Sunday. We expect to have three, potentially four, seminarians in the seminary this fall. One will be returning after completing his Pastoral Internship year. Thank you for your continuing spiritual and financial support of vocations to the priesthood.
