WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY 2006: The theme is « Gathered in my name » (Matthew 18:20). January 22 29. The Christian Council of the Capital Area welcomes all the community to an Ecumenical Prayer Service on Sun., Jan. 22, 3:00 p.m., hosted by Saint Basils Church, 940 Rex Ave. (off Maitland Ave). WOMAN OF BETHANY: This Ministry is hosting a Communion Breakfast at Good Shepherd Church in Blackburn Hamlet. GOLDEN JUBILEE INITIATIVE: St. Basil's is hosting an evening gathering on Sun. Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. with Herbert Stuemer and the Northern Magic Foundation. The objective is to launch the parish and other interested participants in efforts to help sponsor and facilitate better education for high-school students in Kenya. All are welcome.

POTLUCK SUPPER: The Knights of Columbus of St. Philips parish in Richmond will be hosting a Potluck Supper on Sat., Jan 28 5:30 p.m. following 4:30 Mass. All are welcome.
