THE HOMELANDS MASS: The Homelands Mass was filmed by Radio-Canada (channel 5 in Ottawa) and will appear on a program called "Le Jour du Seigneur" on Sunday, January 20, 2022, 10:00 a.m. Photos from the Homelands Mass will be available on the Diocesan web site within the next week.

PERMANENT DIACONATE: Archbishop Prendergast will admit to Candidacy several men who are preparing for the Permanent Diaconate, on Sun., Jan. 20, 9:00 a.m., Good Shepherd parish. Please keep these men in your prayers.

SUPPORT TO THE SEPARATED AND DIVORCED: Support Group for those experiencing the trauma of separation or divorce meets at the Diocesan Centre, 1247 Kilborn Place on Wednesday nights, 7:30 p.m. as follows: Jan. 30, March 15 & 19, April 2 & 16, May 7 & 21. Info: ([email protected]).

MEETING WITH RELIGIOUS: For all Religious who are planning to attend the Mass and gathering at the Sisters of Charity Motherhouse on Feb. 2, 10:00 a.m., please use the parking at the cathedral or the east lot of the Élisabeth-Bruyère medical clinic. Priests should bring an alb and white stole.

BEGINING AGAIN SEMINAR: Diocesan Centre, 1247 Kilborn Place. Sat., March 1, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Intended for those who have been recently separated/divorced. Deals with the issues of getting on with life after the trauma of a failed relationship. Cost: $50. Registration: ([email protected]).

PLANNING TO MARRY? Marriage Preparation Courses are held at most parishes, but for those unable to attend those locally, a limited number will be held at the Diocesan Centre, 1247 Kilborn Pl. CONFIRMATIONS ON PENTECOST SUNDAY: Archbishop Prendergast invites interested adult and secondary school age candidates to receive the sacrament of Confirmation at Notre Dame Cathedral on Pentecost Sunday, May 11, at the noon Mass. All candidates will have registered at their respective parish and have received the appropriate preparation there. Parishes are to send the names and all necessary information for the preparation of the register to Annmarie Brown at Pastoral Services (613-738-5025, ext. 217; [email protected]) no later than April 1, 2022.
