JOY (Just Ottawa Youth): Licence for Peace: St. George Parish, 415 Piccadilly. March 28, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Patrice Brodeur, an expert in Globalization and Inter-religious dialogue, will lead the workshop and help build our toolbox for peacemaking. ADULT FAITH DEVELOPMENT: What does it mean for me to be a Catholic in this world today? Developing a Liturgical Spirituality. Presenter: Prof. Susan Roll. When we truly celebrate the liturgy, the liturgy itself draws us into a dynamic and powerful shared spirituality that shapes who we are as catholics in the world today. Our session will examine first the structure and design of the Sunday eucharist and how the parts fit together. Then we will unfold some of the principles for liturgy reform to see how the rich vision that Vatican II embodied was rooted in the dignity of the celebrating people themselves. CHRISM MASS: This years Chrism Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 11, 7:30 p.m. It will be followed by a reception in the Cathedral Hall, and all the clergy, religious and faithful of the Archdiocese are cordially invited to attend.
