HOMELANDS MASS: Archbishop Marcel Gervais is pleased to invite everyone to the annual Homelands Mass, which will be held on Sun., Jan. 15, 2006, 2:30 p.m., at Notre Dame Cathedral. The Homelands Mass celebrates our cultural diversity both here in Canada and in the Church, and it recognizes the many contributions of all those among us who have come here from foreign lands. WHATS NEW AT THE DIOCESAN YOUTH OFFICE:

Young Adults Retreat: Diocesan Centre, 1247 Kilborn Place. Wed. Jan. 18, 2006, 6:00 10:00 p.m. Are you between the age of 18 and 30 (give or take a few years)? NET ministries (traveling team #1) will lead us in a retreat called "Discover God's Plan for You!" This is a basic introduction to the art of discerning God's will in our lives. The evening begins with a pot-luck. A donation of $10 per participant would be appreciated ...and bring some food to share! What a great way to start the New Year! WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY 2006: The theme is « Gathered in my name » (Matthew 18:20). January 22 - 29.The Christian Council of the Capital Area welcomes all the community to an Ecumenical Prayer Service on Sun., Jan. 22, 3:00 p.m., hosted by Saint Basils Church, 940 Rex Ave. (off Maitland Ave).
